By  |
Our free life today is the result of 57 years of struggle and sacrifice of many thousands; Let us pay homage to all the brave hearts. Let’s celebrate the day that gave us the freedom of thought, actions, faith and speech! Today we celebrate the land of the free and the home of the brave. Independence, a precious gift from God. May we always remain independent.

According to the President of DNKI *Chief Dr. Tony Ebri Eteng*, It is not by mistake that we have been together as one nation since January 14, 1914 and a Nation-state since October 1, 1960 but by a divine design. Our diversities should not be seen as a weakness but as our strength, for it is only by working together that we can build a resilient nation.

The Norsemen Kclub International brings together a cross-section of the world’s brightest men who share love for one another. Since its inception, DNKI has raised more than $1,050,000 for children in orphanage homes, prison inmates, scholarships, and donation to law enforcement agencies and many more. We are the NEW way to network. Today DNKI is over 1.1 million members strong worldwide. From medicine and law to finance, real estate, journalism, fashion and entertainment, the group represents the vast diversity of work, life and passion in the world.

What Nigerians need today is responsible leadership at all arms and levels of government – Which ultimately will engender good governance for the benefit of all irrespective of social and political classes. However, while we wait let us think of something we can do for our nation to make it a place of wealth, peace, and happiness. It is time to make that decision to love and respect our nation. Let us unite as one and fight our common enemy, corruption.

Let’s build a country where every citizen should have a sense of belonging wherever they find themselves. Let all our politicians rise to the great task of building social trust between the people and the nation. By so doing, we can have peace and stability in our country. Permit me to use this opportunity to call on agitators in the country to quickly heed to the voice of reason by toeing the line of diplomatic approach to making demands rather than violence. Let’s promote and cherish peace in all parts of the country even as we pray for ourselves, leaders and government in order to achieve the visions of Nigeria’s founding fathers.

God bless Nigeria!Long may our flag wave! Happy Independence Anniversary Nigerians!
