Comr. James Oche Condemns Ogobia, Ondo Communal Clash, Calls For Peace and Proper Investigation
In his words, he described the incident as “unfortunate and Un-Idomalike” He expressed his disappointment in the perpetrators who have taken to this villainous act departing from the norms and teachings of the Idoma people which is love, oneness and discipline.
The 2019 Ado/Okpokwu/Ogbadibo Federal Constituency hopeful, Comrade James Oche, aka Dr Lee has condemned in its entirety the recent violent clashes in Ogobia and Ondo communities leading to the death of Retired Major Lawrence Ugbo and others.
The Door2Door National Coordinator also in the same statement charged both the State and Local Government to bring the perpetrators to book, stating further that such proactive step could deter intending offenders. He totally condemned the ugly incident that claimed the lives of many Idoma greats and pray God in his infinite mercies to grant the families of the deceased the fortitude to bear the loss.
He urged our youths not to tow the path of destruction, rather they should channel their energies to gainful and meaningful ventures. He further stated that the incident is a wake up call for leaders from the Benue enclave to form and implement policies that could create employment and take youths off the street so as to reduce the threat to security of lives and properties.
